We combine FDA-approved medication with behavioral therapies, social support, and holistic care to help you safely and effectively manage opioid use disorder
Opioid addiction can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or life circumstances. It often starts with prescribed pain medication or recreational use, but over time, the brain and body can develop a dependence that’s difficult to manage alone. Left untreated, opioid use disorder can disrupt daily life, relationships, and overall health, but recovery is possible with the right support.
Opioid use disorder is more than just a habit—it’s a chronic health condition that changes how the brain processes reward, stress, and decision-making. These changes make it difficult to stop using without structured support, even when someone genuinely wants to quit.
Opioids can produce temporary relief from pain or emotional discomfort, but repeated use can lead to tolerance, dependence, and withdrawal symptoms when the substance is reduced or stopped.
Understanding this helps remove blame and stigma, highlighting that professional care, therapy, and sometimes medication-assisted treatment (MAT) are essential tools for lasting recovery.

It can be hard to recognize when professional support is needed, but early intervention can make a huge difference. You or someone you love may benefit from care if you notice:
You don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming. Reaching out for support today can be the first step toward reclaiming control, stability, and hope. Our team can guide you through confidential evaluations, personalized MAT plans, and therapy options designed to fit your life and recovery goals.
Our day treatment programs are designed to provide the right balance of structure and flexibility, supporting recovery from opioid addiction while fitting the needs of each individual. Whether you need full-day immersion, a half-day schedule, or virtual support, we meet clients where they are on their path to long-term recovery.
Full Day Treatment
The full-day program meets Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM, and is ideal for individuals ready to commit fully to their recovery. This immersive format provides a structured environment with comprehensive therapeutic support, allowing clients to focus entirely on overcoming opioid dependence and building long-term sobriety skills.
Half-Day Treatment
Our half-day program runs Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM, offering a flexible option for students, working adults, or those balancing other responsibilities. Sessions can be scheduled in the morning or evening, allowing you to receive evidence-based therapy, group support, and skill-building while maintaining your daily commitments.
Virtual Treatment
For ongoing support beyond in-person care, our virtual program offers continued counseling, case management, and connection to alumni networks. Virtual sessions are designed for aftercare, relapse prevention, and ongoing accountability, helping clients maintain progress from home while staying connected to our supportive recovery community.
Dual Diagnosis
We address both substance use and mental health concerns simultaneously, recognizing how trauma and underlying psychological conditions can impact recovery. Clients receive integrated care that treats the whole person—not just the addiction. By addressing co-occurring disorders alongside opioid dependence, clients achieve greater stability and reduce relapse risk.
Our MAT program combines FDA-approved medications with behavioral therapies. We specialize in prescribing Naltrexone for opioid use disorder and do not prescribe methadone. However, we welcome individuals currently on methadone and offer integrated care to support their ongoing recovery.
Individual therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) treat underlying mental health disorders and trauma that can drive opioid addiction. These focus on reframing negative thoughts, processing trauma, building positive coping skills, and reducing the impact of emotional distress.
Daily group therapy sessions and opportunities for peer connection provide a space to foster connection, overcome feelings of isolation, and share new insights with others recovering from opioid abuse. Group therapy also offers patients a chance to practice skills such as communication, setting boundaries, building trust, and collaborative problem-solving.
Expressive therapies such as art, yoga, and music support the recovery journey by providing physical, emotional, and creative outlets for expressing feelings, relieving stress, reducing anxiety, and fostering mindfulness. These therapies also help individuals explore personal growth, build self-awareness, and reconnect with a sense of purpose during recovery.
Our program offers structured family education and support sessions designed to help loved ones understand opioid addiction, recognize warning signs, and learn strategies to support recovery without enabling relapse. These sessions focus on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and fostering healthier family dynamics that strengthen long-term sobriety.
Our staff and leadership are trained to recognize and reduce triggers, respect each client’s identity, and provide treatment with dignity. Using EMDR, we help clients safely process past trauma while building coping skills and emotional resilience to ensure that recovery from opioid addiction happens in a supportive environment that honors each individual’s experiences.
Recovery doesn’t end at discharge. Our aftercare program offers ongoing support through virtual counseling, check-ins with case managers, and access to our alumni network. This continuous connection helps clients maintain progress, practice relapse prevention skills, and build a supportive community of peers who understand the journey.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is one of the most effective, evidence-based approaches for treating opioid addiction. It combines FDA-approved medications with therapy and structured support to help stabilize your body, reduce cravings, and support long-term recovery.
MAT is designed to treat the whole person—not just the symptoms of addiction. Addressing both the physical dependence and the underlying emotional drivers helps you feel more in control, more stable, and better equipped to move forward.
Research consistently shows MAT can reduce overdose risk, improve treatment retention, and help people rebuild healthier, more sustainable lives.
Medication Support:
We use FDA-approved medications such as buprenorphine and naltrexone to reduce withdrawal symptoms, ease cravings, and help restore balance in the brain without producing a “high.”
Therapy & Behavioral Support:
You’ll work with licensed clinicians through individual and group therapy to address the emotional patterns, stressors, and behaviors connected to opioid use.
Case Management & Life Support:
Our team helps coordinate care beyond treatment, including support with housing, employment, medical needs, and other real-life challenges that can impact recovery.
Personalized Treatment Planning:
Every plan is tailored to you. We start with a comprehensive assessment to understand your history, needs, and goals—then build a program that supports your long-term success.
We work with most commercial insurance providers. Contact our admissions team to learn more about finance plans, scholarships, and other payment options. We are planning to be in-network with more providers soon!

I am a patient with Trinity Wellness for substance use disorder treatment, and I recommend them highly.
What stands out about Trinity Wellness is their genuine care about patients and their clear commitment to put patients, not profit, first. They offer the most flexible programs I have come across in their field, and they truly work to meet each patient where they are in life.
It’s too rare to find a place like this where truly good people are striving to just do good work for the people they serve, and doing so without compromise.
If you are looking for intensive outpatient or long term maintenance treatment for substance use disorder, I recommend you look to Trinity Wellness first.
(I am a real person using a pen name here for privacy given that I am not yet ready to share publicly my struggles with substance use disorder.)

Needed people to understand and not judge me when I was at my lowest. The Therapeutic compassionate approach speaks for itself as i needed to regain confidence to stand on my own two feet again.
The most effective treatment for opioid addiction is a combination of medication and behavioral therapy, often referred to as Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). This approach helps reduce cravings, prevent withdrawal symptoms, and address the underlying psychological causes of addiction. Research shows MAT significantly improves long-term recovery outcomes and reduces the risk of overdose.
The length of opioid addiction treatment varies depending on the individual, but most people benefit from several months to a year of structured care. Treatment often begins with stabilization and continues through ongoing therapy and support. Long-term recovery is an ongoing process, and continued care significantly improves success rates.
We use FDA-approved medications such as buprenorphine (Suboxone) and naltrexone (Vivitrol) to help reduce cravings and support recovery. While we do not prescribe methadone on-site, we welcome and coordinate care for individuals currently receiving methadone treatment. All medication plans are personalized and integrated with therapy for the best outcomes.
We serve clients throughout Braintree, Quincy, Weymouth, and the greater Boston area, including college students and young adults seeking flexible outpatient care. Our programs are designed to support individuals balancing school, work, and recovery, making treatment accessible across Norfolk County and surrounding communities.
We treat a full range of opioid use disorders, including prescription painkillers, heroin, and synthetic opioids. We offer heroin treatment in Massachusetts and specialized support for fentanyl addiction, addressing both the physical dependence and underlying mental health factors driving use.
We provide nonjudgmental, evidence-based care for opioid addiction that respects your experience—meeting you at your current stage of use, recovery, or relapse, and supporting you with a plan that truly fits your life.
