Trinity Wellness Group Alumni Recovery Program

Our alumni programs foster a community built on mutual understanding and shared experiences. We participate in local events, provide opportunities and activities for connection, and help you give back through peer mentorship programs.

What is an Alumni Program?

An alumni program is an aftercare support system designed for patients who have recently finished a substance abuse treatment program. Its purpose is to help those stay accountable, foster a sense of community with others, and support long-term recovery outcomes.

Alumni programs foster a sense of fellowship, reducing feelings of isolation and increasing connection, both essential for long-term sobriety.  These programs may include regular meetings, sponsorships, skill-building workshops, and community events. They focus on relapse prevention by teaching patients to identify and manage triggers and manage cravings. Alumni might receive referrals for 12-step meetings, housing assistance programs, or employment assistance.

The Transition Back Into Regular Life: Benefits of Our Alumni Program

The healing journey doesn’t just end after treatment. A supportive alumni network can reduce the risk of relapse and support your overall mental health. Our alumni program emphasizes accountability, connection, and community.

Ongoing Support Groups and Guidance

We regularly check in with our alumni through peer mentorship and sponsor programs. This helps maintain a sense of accountability.

Events and Community Building

Social events, ongoing group therapy, and peer sessions promote substance-free fun and opportunities to make connections, foster a sense of community, and decrease feelings of isolation.

Relapse Prevention Resources

Coping skills building workshops, 12-step recovery groups, and resources such as AA and NA can help prevent relapse in recovering alumni.

Power of Service and Giving Back

Alumni members have the opportunity to serve others through peer support programs, mentorship, sponsorship, and community outreach projects. This can help those in long-term recovery find a sense of purpose.

Career and Education Reintegration

Career reintegration, life skills training, and case management services can help our alumni more easily rejoin the workforce, return to school, or develop essential skills such as resume building, job interviewing, and budgeting.
